Sahyadri Tiger Reserve
About:
The Sahyadri Tiger Reserve is located in the Sahyadri Ranges of Western Ghats in Maharashtra. These ranges form a common boundary between Maharashtra, Karnataka and Goa, and comprise of rich evergreen, semi-evergreen and moist deciduous forests. It is the first Tiger Reserve of Western Maharashtra and the fourth Tiger Reserve of the State.

Animal in Sahyadri Tiger Reserve
Bengal Tigers, Indian leopards, Indian bison, leopard cats, sloth bears and Indian giant squirrels are quite conspicuous here.Barking deer, sambar deer, mouse deer and blackbuck are also present.

Camp Koyna Resort
Camp Koyna is the only Adventure Resort in the area situated on the bank of the majestic Koyna on the perimeter of Koyna Wildlife Sanctuary and Sahyadri Tiger Reserve. This Resort offers the ruggedness of the jungle with a comfortable stay in the wilderness. To ensure closeness to the nature, the facilities are bare necessities. The Resort has 12 luxury tents offering accommodations for group sizes up to 80 people. There is a multipurpose hall for presentations, activities and sessions. The camp fire area is complete with a Bar-Be-Que pit. There are ample leveled areas for field & outdoor games. The place offers acres of green land to explore the richness of nature and also has area for games and adventure activities.
The Jungle Resort
The Jungle Resort Amba, is a 5 acre well developed, tree covered property with lawns and numerous trees. There is a seasonal stream flowing through the Western part of the resort. Scattered inside this lush green area are our rooms, Swimming Pool and other facilities with ample open spaces. The Jungle Resort Amba carries out safari tours in our specially fitted jeeps into this forest & guide you around giving information of the various Fauna and medicinal plants, endemic to these jungles. Also regaling you with stories of Shivaji and his escapades. We also arrange pick up services from Goa Airport and Pune Airport at an Additional cost. Its a four hour scenic drive from both these airports.

Scenic places like Kandhardoh and Kandhardoh Falls, Tanali falls and Vasant Sagar Reservoir are places of tourist importance in the park. Scenic points like Kokan darshan, Zolambi sada and the virgin forest of Rundiv add to the recreation value.
