A tiger was found dead in the Jim Corbett Tiger Reserve in Ramnagar, an official said on Wednesday. The adult tiger was spotted by forest officials on duty in the Jhirna range on Tuesday evening, the official said. The expansive Palamu Tiger Reserve (PTR), Jharkhand’s lone protected tiger den, is gradually turning into a cowshed with milkmen from Bihar, Chattisgarh and surrounding locals areas encroaching the reserve to let their cattle graze, forest officials said.
