Dehradun: Uttarakhand today got its second tiger reserve as the famous Rajaji National Park in state was formally granted the prestigious status. Forests of the Surai range and Khatima range in the district are all set to be included as part of the buffer zone of Pilibhit Tiger Reserve. New Delhi: Tiger population in the country is estimated to be around 2,226, a rise of over 30 per cent since the last count in 2010, according to the latest census report released today.
